Its Grand Final day for the AFL and I am writing this early so that I can settle down and barrack hard for the Cats (sorry to all the Pies supporters but it just isn't in me to barrack for Collingwood).

Stampin Up have a promotion for October and it is the Stitched Stocking stamp set (w) 125798 $53.95 (c) 123784 $42.95 and Stocking Tag punch 124095 $33.95 (pictured). These items will be in the upcoming Summer mini catalogue 2011but for October, you will have the chance to purchase them early. Or if you host a $450 workshop/card class, you will receive the Stitched Stocking Stamp Set and Stocking Tag Punch for free. How exciting is that.

I will be having a fundraiser for the WALA Wild Life Sanctuary on the 30th October at the Haddon Commnity Centre. The Pancake Kitchen will be there at 12pm and the Card Class will start at 1pm. Please keep this date free and more details will follow. It would be a good chance to get some Christmas Cards done and there will be plenty of specials going too.

New Catalogue

With the AFL season being over for me and my Tiges, I can now concentrate on Stampin Up (better luck next year. I think that I have been saying that for 30 years now).

Finally, our new catalogue has arrived and I just love it. The new In Colours are stunning and they will stay for 2 years. The old In Colours will stay for another 12 months.

We have new punches that are called triple punches. They punch out three different styles depending on where the button is placed. The new style punch is so much easier to use. Call me for a demonstration.

There are some amazing new stamps sets in all sections in the catalogue and the best thing is that we now have fabrics to match the stamp sets and DSP - absolutely stunning, but my favorite stamp set is still here - Lovely As a Trees.

My card class charges are still the same - 3 cards of 3 designs is $12.00 and 3 cards of 2 designs is $9.00

Just a reminder that the Autum-Winter mini cataogue will finish on the 31st July. If you would like to order anything from it, please contact me before that date.

The new 2011-2012 Catalogue will be released on the 1st September so the retired list wil come out on the 1st August. Keep on eye on this blog to view it. The goods on this list will sell fast so get in early or you might miss out.

This is a photo of my granddaughter's birthday cake. It was Kayla's 1st birthday. Cupcakes are very popular. Stampin Up have a punch in the Autumn Winter mini catalogue and a stamp set called "Create a Cupcake" - very cute. This mini is running until 31st July.

There is a promotion running until the end of this month. If you spend $100 in a single order, you will receive buttons and ribbons as seen in the promotion on the side of this blog.

It is only a couple of weeks to out retired list comes out - very exciting.

Happy Australia Day

I hope everyone enjoyed their Australia Day with most of us having the day off. I spent the day with two of my Grand daughters - Jalia and Paedra. I got them using the Big Shot and cutting out ABC's in different colours for my scrapbooking. We hope to watch the fireworks from our backyard.

Sale-A-Bration has now started. So for every $100 you spend in one transaction, you can choose a stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

Also, until the 15th February, Stampin Up will donate $2.00 from every stamp set over $30 to the Australian Flood Relief.

This picture is of my lovely Grand daughter - Kayla. She is nearly eight months now and totally cute and loves to be in her jumper.

The Summer Mini Catalogue is still active. It will go through to March. If you would like a copy of this catalogue, please contact me.

We are getting close to the start of Sale-a-bration. It starts 25th January. If you spend $100 on Stampin Up goods in one transaction, you can choose a stamp from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

I still have some days left for card classes in February. The cost is for an afternoon class - $12 for 9 cards and for an evening class is $8 for 6 cards. You can book early for March as well.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Guess what my New Year's resolution is - to be more consistent with posting blogs and letting everyone know about all the Stampin Up promotions.

The new promotion that started on the 30th Dec 2010 and goes to 24th Jan 2011 is the Heart Treat Cups promotion. When you buy the Sweetheart stamp set or the Full Heart Punch, you will receive the Heart Treat Cups (12) for free.

Our Sale-a-bration promotion starts on the 25th Jan but I will post more details as the date gets closer.

We have some exciting news about our Colour Families - they are changing. Stmapin Up are changing the colours are in line with the changing preferences for different colours. The colours are staying until the new catalogue comes out in September.

Well, I have had a great Easter, celebrating with my family. My daughter Norah, came home from Yandi for her break. And we went out for lunch with my sister-in-law Ann and her family and also my father-in-law Bill.

I have had my first card class with the new mini catalogue and the ladies who were there, were very excited about the clear stamps and Big Shot. We certainly had lots of fun playing with the Big Shot, dies and textured impressions. The three new colours are very trendy. My favourite is Rich Razzleberry.

My next Techniques Class is 11th April at 1.30pm and will be at my home. I have four places left. If anyone is interested please email or phone me. I am certainly going to be very busy over the coming months with classes.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I can't believe it has been four months since my first blog. I have been busy with work and card classes. Also, my husband has had an major operation, so that filled in a bit of time looking after him. He is on the road to recovery but it seems to be taking forever.

My sister turned 60 this year (I don't know where all those years went to.) She is my older sister, too, by the way. I made her this card. The sixty is made out of "sticky cuts" and glitter.

I will have to get the baby stamps out as this year, we have quite a few babies to be born. My lovely niece started the ball rolling on the 14th Jan, having a beautiful little girl - Summer Paige. She was supposed to be named Elizabeth after her Great Aunt but somewhere along the track, the names got changed. Ah well, their are a few others that I can now nag to name the baby after me.

Welcome to my first blog. It is so exciting setting this up. I hope you will enjoy mine and others designs for cards and scrapbooks.

I intend to start running classes from my home and l will be showing different techniques. Keep an eye out for the dates.

At the moment, I am not working so if you want a workshop or class, afternoons are free as well as evenings.

Christmas is not that far away. The stores have decorations for sale all ready. We should start thinking about making cards. Stampin Up have lovely Christmas stamps in the Ideas Book and Catalogue 2009 - 2010. We have beautiful colours in the cardstock. You do not have to use the traditional colours for the cards (think outside the square).

I have retired stock for sale too. The prices are 20% off the normal price and do not include postage. I will work out how much the postage if you do not live in the Ballarat area otherwise the goods can be picked up.

Well, thank you for looking at my blog. Please let me know what you think about it (nice comments though). I intend to write once or twice a week so see you next time.
